ACCESS MHA is a Community based mental health and substance abuse service provider. We are seeking experienced Mental Health professionals in GA to provide direct mental health services to children, adolescents and adults with mental illness, behavioral health and/or substance abuse disorders. Full-time, Part-time and contractual opportunities are available.


The incumbent shall be responsible for providing services for a caseload of clients that receive community-based mental health and substance abuse services. Responsibilities shall include providing therapy, individual and group counseling and/or behavioral interventions in various community settings including residential, school and workplace environments.

Qualifications for senior-professionals include a license, provisional license, certificate, registration or permit issued by the governing board regulating a human service profession or a Masters degree in one of the behavioral or social sciences and at least two years post graduate school MH/DD/SA experience with targeted population. Demonstrated experience in the management and delivery of mental health services including therapy, individual and group counseling and behavioral intervention required; experience with substance abuse recovery and intervention is a plus.

Extensive service delivery experience in a public mental health setting which would provide knowledge of the principles and practices of public alcohol, drug, and mental health care, funding streams for such care, and related State and Federal requirements; supervisory experience preferred.


The incumbent shall provide support to individuals with Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse disorders in community settings including residential, school and workplace environments. Direct Care providers shall deliver interventions and activities that are strength-based, focusing on promoting recovery, symptom reduction, increased coping skills, and achievement of the highest level of functioning in the community.

Bachelor�s degree in a human service field and a minimum of two-years of full time, post degree MH/DD/SA experience with the targeted population.
